| Well
designed lettering can be carved into most stone, slate, granite, wood
and brickwork. By using hand tools, lettering can be carved in most
places too. I have worked up on the scaffolding of building sites and
out in the middle of Dartmoor.
Commissions have varied from 5' tall Portland Stone nameplates
at the Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Hospital in Exeter to the
rough granite village sign for Bridford. I worked on The National
Gallery assisting the Incisive Letterwork partnership carve the
new sign for the front of the building in Trafalgar Square. |
